ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUSINESS RESEARCH
[Ref : EXT/AM01/10]

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible in implementing a strategic business plan within limits of company's rules and regulations
  • Planning and executing research and analysis
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to long and short-term strategic plans and developing mitigation strategies in terms of enhancing services as well as subscriber base
  • Participate and manage in project planning, paper work and implementation including Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • To perform duties as requested by superior from time to time as required
  • Propose solutions to improve quality of current services
  • Management of overall delivery of solutions in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Manage and collaborate with solution vendors to ensure the operational excellence
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Accredited Degree in IT-Business, Business Management, Economics, Engineering studies or any other related fields
  • Acrredited Higher Natioanl Diploma (HND) graduate in IT-Business, Business Management, Economics, Engineering studies ir any other related fields with six (6) years relevant working experiences
  • Accredited National Diploma (ND) graduate in IT-Business, Business Management, Economics, Engineering studies, Business and Finance studies or any other related fields with twelve (12) years relevant working experiences
  • Background in IT, telecommunication industry would be an advantage
  • Able to work independently, acquire good analytical skills and capable of making decisions
MANAGER, TECHNOLOGY & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, INTERNAL AUDIT UNIT
[Ref : EXT/MGR03/10]

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensuring that the IT and Network integrity systems are consistent with the needs of technology risk management and information security
  • Review IT and Network development projects before and after implementation to ensure that performance meets the needs of the Group
  • Evaluates IT and Network plans, strategies, risks, controls, policies, and procedures to ensure adequate management oversight. Also assesses the day-to-day IT and Network controls to ensure that transactions are recorded and processed in compliance with acceptable accounting methods and standards and is in compliance with policies set forth by the Board of Directors and Senior Management
  • Perform operational audits, including system development audits, to ensure that internal controls are in place, that policies and procedures are effective, and that employees operate in compliance with approved policies
  • Identifies weaknesses, review Management's plans for addressing those weakness, monitor their resolution and report to the Board of Directors as necessary on material weaknesses
  • Make recommendations to Management about procedures that affect IT and Network controls
  • Reviewing the control aspects of new applications, products, conversions or services throughout their development and implementation
  • Undertake special reviews and investigations as recommended by the SM of Internal Audit, Audit Committee or Board of Directors
  • Directs, guides and instructs staff assistants assigned to the audit. Review their work for sufficiency of scope and accuracy
  • Manage audits within the time frame stated in the manual audit plan
  • Reviews and ensures timely preparation of reports prepared by staff before submission to SM of Internal Audit
  • Ensures that adequate resources are made available for executing the audits
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the SM of Internal Audit, Audit Committee or Board of Directors from time to time
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Accredited Degree in Information Systems and/or Computer Studies and/or Telecom Engineering or any other related fields with four (4) years relevant working experiences
  • Accredited HND graduate in Information Systems and/or Computer Studies and/or Telecom Engineering or any other related fields with ten (10) years relevant working experiences
